Life gets busy, which can make it challenging to provide the consistent care and attention that your pet's coat can demand. Our experienced and knowlegdable staff will help you navigate what your pet's specific skin and coat care requires and taylor that to your lifestyle.
Your pets safety, well being, and happiness are our top priorities.
Although, in grooming, accidents can happen, we strive to take every precaution to ensure their health and safety, while in our care. Which is why we frequently take continued education courses and are CPR and 1st Aid Certified.

We always try to be prepared for any pet's needs, but sometimes there are “special” circumstances.
Some of our most common “special needs” are dogs that are aging, losing their hearing and/or sight.
Some have medical conditions, some need help standing, and some just need someone to love on them while they’re being groomed.
If you have a “special” request, please message us, or call. We will do our very best to accommodate.

We offer a variety of grooming services to fit your pet's needs. Our grooming and bathing treatments are all inclusive. This means we include the bath (shampoo and conditioning), brush and blow out, ear cleaning, anals/desheding (if needed), teeth cleaning (if requested), and nail trim/buff. If a full haircut is not needed, we offer tidy ups. That includes everything mentioned above plus a light trim around the face, feet, pad shave, and sanitary areas. We also offer some fun and pet safe creative grooming. In an effort to keep costs simple yet fair, we have adopted an hourly rate charge. All extra small, small, and medium sized dogs will be $70 an hour with an hour minium. All large and above will be $90 an hour with an hour minium. This is charged for any hands on work time. So any interuptions, breaks they may need, crate drying time (if needed), and play/ belly rubs are not charged for. We will provide an estimate of time it may take. Please note, there are a few exceptions to this pricing structure, we ask you to please call/text with any inquiries. We also still provide many services a la carte as well.

Much like your cat granting you permission to live with them, the same energy applies to their grooming. Not only do they prefer to be in charge, but most do not get out as much. This means before a cat even arrives to the salon, the stress and anxiety levels are rising. Once at the salon they are now faced with strangers trying to coax them out of the very box you struggled to get them in. Ironiocally, that is one problem we don't have. They can't get back in the box fastest enough.
During their appointment, a groomer must closely monitor them for any change in signs of distress. It can go from tense to very bad in seconds. Their reaction to all of this combined with us working on them can vary. Some may freeze in fear, others may lash out, or anything in between. If one lashes out, it can be extremely dangerous for not only the cat, but us too. A cat bite or even a scratch can cause a great of harm. Everything stated above along with their paper thin and stretchy skin is why cats are considered "High Risk". This is why it can be difficult to find a groomer and why it is a bit more expensive.

We offer various services for our feline friends such as; nail trims, sanitary trims, spot shaves, baths, and full grooms. Due to the risks associated we schedule cats differently, therefore there may be a slight wait for an appointment.
Please note: if at any point during their visit, we see signs it is becoming too much for them we will immediately stop and request pick up. This may mean an unfinshed or incomplete service and may require a follow up appointment.

Our experience and expertise extend beyond cats and dogs. We welcome lizards, bunnies, ferrets, chicken, guinea pigs, pot belly pigs, goats, hamsters, perhaps a horse or pony, and more. All of our grooming prices are based on your pets individual needs.
Factors; such as size, temperament, coat condition, frequency and complexity of groom,
all determine the final price.
Any grooming quote given, whether in person or over the phone, is a GUIDELINE.
Pets who are severely matted, who are older or have other issues, require more time and more staff, and will likely incur changes above
and beyond the original quote.

We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
1. We are a small business and appointments are scheduled based on groomer availability and client needs. Any one who is 15 minutes (or more) late for their scheduled appointment, will be asked to reschedule. Appointments offered are held for 24 hours. If no confirmation is made within the 24 hours, the appointment will become open and available to be filled. We are not responsible for any unconfirmed appointment availability. For all new clients looking to secure an appointment, all requested information must be provided, including but not limited to; name, age, sex, breed, bahavioral / temperment needs, phone number, and deposit.
2. Due to limited space, pets are required to be picked up IMMEDIATELY following their grooming appointment, unless prior arrangements are made. PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS ARE TO BE MADE A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT.
Anything less than 24 hours notice, the appointment will have to be rescheduled.
We notify everyone when their pet is ready for pick up. Any pet that is not picked up within a half hour (30 minutes) from notification, will be charged an intial boarding fee of $15 for the first 30 minutes and a $1 per minute thereafter.
* If your pet is done, we have contacted you, and it‘s after close, there will be an additional $1 per minute for every minute past close., added to the cost of the groom
3. Payment is due at time of service. We accept cash, check or credit/debit cards.
4. Due to the large increase of " NO CALLS/ NO SHOWS", we now require ALL new clients to pay a deposit when making their first appointment. Deposit costs will vary, depending on the requested service, the size of your pet, and coat condition. Deposits are 50% of the estimated total service cost and will be credited toward the remaining balance due, at your appointment time.
5. Anyone who "NO CALLS/ NO SHOWS" will be charge half (50%) of scheduled appointment's estimated total. This fee must be paid in order to reschedule or can be added to next appointment's total.
**Please note the final cost may vary from the original quote. For example, if we find fleas on your pet, we may administer a flea bath. There is an additional charge for this, and that will be applied to the final cost.
If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, we ask for a 24 hour cancellation/reschedule notice, or you will forfeit your deposit.
Again, we are a small business and "NO CALLS/ NO SHOWS", last minute reschedules are all a loss in revenue for us. We ask the same consideration that you would appreciate for yourself be extended to us. We understand life happens, as do unforeseen circumstances out of our control and of course, if these situations arise fees can be waived.
6. Fleas - if during the grooming process fleas are discovered that were not disclosed during booking appointment, we will immediately stop groom, quarantine them, and contact you to pick up ASAP. Upon pick up you will be charged the total cost of groom plus a $15 santization fee. Once pet has been treated and free of any active live fleas, we can reschedule and finish groom.
7. MATTING - we are not responsible for any underlying conditions, injuries, and/or wounds discovered while removing matting. We are also not responsible for hematomas, skin conditions, and/or reactions that may arise from removal process. While we will use extreme caution, take all precautions, and great care during removal, how their body reacts is unknown. Matting is not only extremely painful, it's dangerous. We reserve the right to stop service or refuse service if we deem it necessary or can not do so in a humane fasion or safely. We will then refer to a Veterinarian.
8. Grace period - we allow up to 3 days from last appointment for anyone who may be unsatisified with your pet's groom. Please reach out within 3 days and we will schedule a touch- up ASAP at no cost. Anything after the allowed grace period will require a full groom at regular price. This is due to conditions outside of our control they endure in their enivorments being a cat or dog. While we strive to obtain "the look" you are hoping to achieve, we may miss the mark. There are many factors that must be considered such as; coat type / condition, temperment, and communication are the biggest. At drop off we will discuss the goal and any factors that may hinder it. This is also why we request pictures of them groomed in the style desired. Pictures also help to eliminate any miscommunication. At pick up we will go through overall visit and groom. We want you to be satified while maintaining a happy and healthy bond with the beloved member of your family.
9.We reserve the right to use, at our discrection*) any pictures we (Shampooches staff) take of any client while in our care as we see fit. *This includes, but not limited to:sharing on our social media, website, and / or advertising. If you wish to have your pet removed and not included in any pictures please let us know and we will kindly respect your wishes.
